Actor Kamal Haasan made his political announcement on night of January 16, 2018. He announced that on 21st February he starts political tour. His political journey starts from former president of India APJ Abdul Kalam’s home at Rameswaram and political conference will be held in evening on Madurai.

Kamal will start his political tour from Rameswaram, the tour named as “Naalai Namadhe”. He will announce his political party name, symbol and flag in public meeting to be held in Madurai. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be participating in first political meeting of Kamal Hassan.

Before the political announcement, kamal met various senior politicians of tamilnadu including Kalaignar Karunanidhi, Vai Ko, Seeman, Vijayakanth and his friend actor super star rajinikanth. Sources added that Kamal Hassan also incited west bengal chief minister mamata banerjee to attend the meeting. Kamal also invite Rajini to attend Madurai Pothu Kootam 2018.

Through Twitter, Kamal Hassan invited everyone to participate in a public meeting. The meeting starts on 21/02/2018 at 6.00 PM. He also added that he will announce political party in a great public rally at the Madurai Othakadai and he will explain essence of party and policy. Earlier the meeting scheduled to be taken place in Arasaradi Ground.
