Andraprdesh Election Commission 2015 notification for 18 years completed male and female inclusion of their names in the electoral roll


The Chief Electoral Officer functions under the overall supervision and control of the Election Commission of India. It
monitors the work relating to the conduct of General Elections and Bye-Elections to the House of People from Andhra Pradesh,
A.P. Legislative Assembly and A.P. Legislative Council. This includes preparation and updation of Electoral Rolls, Issue of
Photo Identity Cards to Electors, rationalization/re-organization of Polling Stations, voters’ education, implementation of
Model Code of Conduct, the Election Laws and the instructions issued by the Election Commission of India from time to time.

Period of filing claims and objections (i.e   applications for inclusion, deletion, correction, and change in address) 04-11-2014  to 30.11.2014
Reading of relevant part/section of photo   electoral rolls in Grama Sabha / Local Bodies and Residents’ Welfare   Association meetings etc. & verification of names 12-11-2014 and 20-11-2014
Special Campaign dates with booth level agents   of political parties for receiving claims and objections 10-11-2014  and 24-11-2014
Disposal of claims and objections By 16.12.2014
Updating the database, merging of photographs,   updating the control tables and preparation and printing of supplementary   list By 30.12.2014
Final publication of Electoral Rolls 06-01-2014 (Monday)

According to the above revised schedule, the draft photo electoral Roll shall be published on 04.11.2013 in all designated location viz., Polling station location, offices of the electoral registration officers and assistant electoral registration officers, e-seva / Mee-seva / common service centres, fair price shops. Ward/ municipal / panchayat offices in the respective assembly constituency
